My name is Kiril Todorov and since 2016 I have been training dogs. Over time, I have had the opportunity to observe how the raw diet affects them and how many benefits it has. So I decided to try it on my dogs as well. I delved into research and found that there is no quality BARF in Bulgaria, let alone made in Bulgaria.

I love our country, I have chosen to live and develop in it. I strongly believe that we can produce quality products locally. So I invited my good friend Borislav Penev as my partner, with whom we complement each other wonderfully.

This is our short personal story, and now let's tell you about the process.<\/strong>

The most important thing to get a quality BARF menu is raw materials. All the raw materials we use are from Bulgarian farms. These are manufacturers that are licensed according to the standards of the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency and undergo regular checks for the quality of raw materials. <\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The meat is not frozen in advance, but arrives fresh, immediately after the slaughter of the animals. There are no artificial additives or preservatives added to it. Also, in addition to the sources of meat, it is also important what it is. Most importers produce BARF with mechanically removed meat. This means that the bones are put in a centrifuge that separates the meat residues. It turns out something like finely ground minced meat, most often from chicken. <\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

For our chicken menus, however, we use chicken leg meat. They are thoroughly boned so that the ratio of raw materials can be accurately measured. And for all menus with beef and horse, we use muscle meat from the shoulder. Often people think that ready-made BARF menus are of low quality, and this may be the case. However, we use so many quality products that you cannot find in butcher shops. <\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

If it sometimes seems to you that the menu you bought is darker or you notice some other difference \u2013 then this is a good signal. Our products are made from raw meat, no dyes and flavors are added to them. And that's why it's normal for there to be a difference. If you shop from our colleagues and the type of menu is always 100% the same, the chance to add dyes to it is very high. <\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

After we have obtained the quality raw materials, it is important to have quality production that is licensed by the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency. There should be different chambers for freezing different raw materials and hygiene standards should be observed. The control of raw materials is carried out manually, and if necessary, the meat is cleaned of excess fat. And for accurate dosing, grinding, stirring and filling, we rely on machines that are more precise than a human hand. <\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

When it comes time for transport, it must be refrigerated to avoid defrosting the goods. Our food travels by refrigerated truck, which maintains sub-zero temperatures to our warehouse in Sofia. This is where the magic happens. We are the only BARF manufacturer that has its own veterinarian team. Dr. Yoan Slavchev is a veterinarian at the National Veterinary Clinic, he is also a breeder of Pomeranians with a kennel \"Orchide in Blossom\" and a breeder of oriental cats. He helps us immensely in the development of recipes and consults our clients in the preparation of specific diets. <\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We have our own certified refrigerated transport, with which the food will arrive on time. For the country, we work with several clinics and shops, which you can see here.
